What "per billable user" and live hours mean

User billing definition and live-hour reset period confirmed in your written order.

Proposed billing definition, pending adoption and billing validation: one unique paid member or PPV purchaser per account per month, counted once. Free viewers and admins are excluded.

Live hours are shown as published limits, not confirmed monthly allowances.

The FAST fee applies only when both are chosen. A custom linear order that already includes FAST is not charged twice.

No extra fee for additional channels within your tier. Beyond one Starter channel, upgrade to Pro; beyond three, Network; beyond ten, custom quote. FAST channel counts do not create free Lookhu school storefronts.

Extra Starter storage starts at $10/month. Storage increments and bandwidth overages require a written quote.

Optional FAST services (proposed)

  • Managed scheduling: $250/month per channel, up to four schedule refreshes. Assets supplied by you. More scope is a written quote.

Editorial suggestion: about 6 hours of cleared, unique programming that can repeat through a 24-hour schedule. This is not a platform requirement.

FasterFasts is SSAI-ready, which does not by itself mean turnkey dynamic ad monetization is active. RTMP live ingest on Creator Pro is currently labeled Coming Soon. Lookhu live streaming is separate from FasterFasts RTMP ingest, and live takeover of a FAST channel is not promised until tested.

A streaming subscription gives you the platform. It does not include cameras, crew or editing, and production has no published daily rate.

Content, filming, cameras, crew, editing

You / Lookhu: You or your production partner supply rights-cleared finished content, cameras, crew and editing.

Production: Request a separate production quote. Production is always a custom scope.

Live feed

You / Lookhu: You produce each live feed with your own encoder. Endpoint, protocol and bitrate are provided during onboarding.

Production: Production quote can cover a live broadcast crew. The $99/hour remote operator add-on is not production.

Sponsor creative, metadata, artwork, promotion, approvals

You / Lookhu: You supply sponsor creative, metadata, artwork, promotion and approvals.

Production: Clips and posting is a published add-on ($500/month for 20 posts).

Channel setup, hosting and distribution

You / Lookhu: Lookhu provides contracted channel configuration, ingestion guidance, hosting/distribution, supported viewer payment/access, reporting and payout administration.

How revenue is shared.

Brands ordinarily buy advertising or sponsorship. A sponsor does not automatically receive a revenue share. Each stream below shows who sells it and what it is calculated on.

What "net receipts" means

Net receipts are funds collected, less applicable taxes, refunds, chargebacks, payment/app-store fees and disclosed third-party ad-platform fees. There is no general Lookhu overhead deduction and no undisclosed sales commission deduction.

Base fees, user fees and optional services are additional to revenue sharing.

Payouts and sponsor insertion

Proposed payout: monthly, within 30 days after month-end for cleared funds, with a $100 threshold and carryforward.

Routine insertion of your supplied sponsor creative is included in the proposed ad share. Custom event cue mapping or live ad trafficking is proposed at $99 per event, with manual operator time separate at $99/hour. Production is custom.

Sponsor sales, views, revenue and ad fill are not guaranteed.

Distribution and ownership.

Additional distribution is subject to each platform's approval, technical requirements and commercial terms.

  • A school-branded page and custom domain come with College Channel (Studio). Dedicated school apps come with College Network (Studio Plus), with deployment scope confirmed in the order.
  • HLS feed compatibility is not automatic carriage on Pluto TV, Tubi, Samsung TV Plus or any other external platform.
  • HSMG can aggregate authorized schools in one account or channel with clear collections and reporting. Independently branded school channels need their own Lookhu subscriptions.
  • Lookhu show or block placement is subject to editorial acceptance and written scope. There is no guaranteed homepage placement or exclusivity.
  • You keep ownership of your content and original masters. Your order grants the agreed hosting and distribution permissions. Downloads, exports, retention and backups follow the verified handoff scope.

Shared Lookhu apps

Your channel can appear inside the shared Lookhu experience. That is not a standalone school app. Confirm supported device availability before relying on a specific device.

Dedicated school apps

Your own branded mobile and TV apps are part of College Network (Studio Plus). Target 30 to 60 calendar days, subject to technical scope and store reviews. Approval dates are never guaranteed.

Private classroom access

Private, authorized-only classroom viewing is not an included learning management system. We are open to a pilot and will scope it with you.

Proposed and custom: a private Learn add-on is estimated at $199 to $499/month plus $500 to $1,500 setup, with the final quote based on access model, integrations and usage. There is no automatic per-student fee beyond the agreed quote.

Private academic content is never placed in public FAST schedules. We make no FERPA compliance, LMS integration, SSO, grades or student-record claims without approved documentation. Please do not send student records in any form on this page.

Crypto or token rewards are not included in standard college pricing and may only be considered as an optional future pilot.
